The European Movement Shropshire is one of 100 branches of the European Movement UK, a non-party political organisation with a national focus, whereas our focus is on Shropshire – aiming to monitor the effects of the UK’s departure from the EU is having on Shropshire’s businesses, science, services and cultural life and to foster links between county organisations and counterparts in the EU, proving that departing the EU does not mean severing ties with our European friends. We will also seek to deepen ties between Shropshire communities and European citizens resident here.
